I'm always prepared for the dr, but this time I was like, what the hell, we only ever need a diaper. Enter pooplosion! Well, that bit me in the ass. Lol. This is how we left.
I take the diaper bag everywhere just in case! I always keep extra diapers and an extra outfit. We have gone to the pedi before and gone through 2-3 diapers while there. At least LO was happy about it!
AWW...he looks so happy though! Jealous of his hair!
and some unsolicited advice...sorry...his straps are supposed to be at or below his shoulders rear facing. I don't mean to be annoying, but I would hate for something to happen!
Also, do you live in Florida? The area I live in is called Fruit Cove....

And THAT is how it's done ladies. How many posts have we had asking how to approach someone?
OP, he is just too cute! I'm sure he loved being dressed down.

I had no idea about the straps! We actually just moved them from the lower holes because we thought that was wrong below the shoulder. Thank u! We're changing to the convertible seat tomorrow cause he's 26.5 inches and that one goes to 27 inches!
Yeah, I def felt like a moron. I had the small diaper bag and wipes, just no outfit. Gonna be keeping a couple spares in the car.
@deedee1017 you are exactly right on the advice. She let me know something I had no idea about!
FFThC-- I used to put the chest buckle much lower than I was supposed to on DD's car seat. I recently read the car seat sticky and realized I was doing it all wrong. The nurse at the hospital showed us how to buckle dd in the car seat at the hospital, but she was so small as a newborn that there wasn't much room to adjust the buckle, it just naturally fell in the right place. I felt so dumb and grateful that I read it.
I know people worry about hurting other people's feelings, but I know that I'd want to know if I'm not doing something right that can ultimately harm my child. I'm a ftm and i'll take all the advice I can get.
A few weeks ago when I took LO to the Dr, she was running a fever so they had me undress her and keep her that way until she cooled down. So we went to the lab, and then the pharmacy, with a naked baby strapped into the carseat.
