  Lately we've just been going to dinner. Our next date night I'm going to suggest dinner and then bowling. My SO loves to go bowling.

  Movies, apps & drinks at a fancy restaurant, anything competitive (bowling, putt putt, laser tag, tennis), "park" at the beach.
  
  Nights in are usually just catching up on dvr, but upstairs on the projection screen

  We really need to make it a priority for just the two of us to get out, even just for supper. The few times we have gotten out have been when we went to our hometown to celebrate the birthday party of a friend. Those nights usually consist of us hanging out with a group of people so not really a night alone. Lo also struggles to go to sleep for anyone else so we always just wait at home until he goes to bed. Ehhh this post really makes me see how we need to get our act together.

  Date night in usually means getting drunk and playing farkle or phase 10 at the kitchen table. Tonight we are having a night out seeing the new captain america movie and we went to the mall alone together

  We go to dinner and a movie most of the time in the winter. I the summer we like to do things outside. Sometimes we go downtown and walk through centennial park and watch the fountain music show or go get drinks on a rooftop hotel. Sometimes we'll go to a play, jazz club, or outdoor concert.

  We don't live near family and our town isn't the most appealing so we haven't left LO with anyone. We have gone on one date night over thanksgiving when we went "home" to visit. For us it's more of a trust issue.

  We do some kind of take out and a movie when staying in. We have only left lo twice...once on my bday we went to a movie and once we went to a wedding.
  
  It's my dh's bday this coming weekend and our 2nd wedding anniversary. My mil wants us to stay at a hotel but I can't do it. I'm not comfortable leaving him overnight. I also don't have enough milk which I'm using As myain excuse.
