Dropping MOTN Feed

My DD slept 10 hours last night at 16 weeks (yay!) and missed her MOTN feed. I didn't add more to her bottles this morning and now am wondering if I should've. Any advice or experience?

Re: Dropping MOTN Feed

  • I would just play it by ear. A lot of babes make up for missing that feed by cluster feeding in the evenings. Others want more in daytime bottles. Maybe send a couple ounces exta in a separate bottle and instruct DC to only offer if she seems to not be satisfied after her normal sized bottles.

Or last night could have been a fluke and she may not do it again for a while. Just follow her lead. She'll let you know what she needs.
