Boring questions re: siggie and avatar stuff

1) I'm trying to change my avatar using the "my bump" tab, but the changes aren't showing up in the threads. Does anyone know what gives?

2) Does anyone know how to resize a gif in your siggie? I do love Tom, but he probably doesn't need to be so big (TWS did not S).

I don't know about resizing, but to change your sig you need to click on the button that looks like a bust in the top right, then go to signature settings from there.

ETA: I think it takes a while to update. I feel like someone's said that before.

Thanks @monkeybabe; I did try that, but I can't see an option for changing your avatar using that button? It did work for changing DD's picture.
