Is it too early to talk Mother's Day?

I know we're not at Easter yet, but does anyone have any thoughts for Mother's Day on what you're getting your Mom/LO's grandma?

Bonus if you're planning on crafting something...I've been scouring Pinterest for something cute and not cheesy and haven't had any luck.

I would like to do what we did last year and make it a new tradition. I made a picnic and we took my parents to the botanical gardens to eat and walk around. It was a lot of fun and a beautiful day. DH had our good camera and took a lot of pictures of me and my mom playing with the boys.

Every year I make my mom a photo book of my kids from the past year. Like May of 2013 up to April of 2014. She loves it and I don't have to think of new ideas ever. My mom also hates perfume, flowers, jewelry, clothing, lotions with scent, pedicures, massages or anything that would make any sense to give to another human as a gift.

If I can find a good photo of DD with her grandma and nana I was going to have her paint a frame or mat for it. I would use letter stickers that I can peel of after painting to write 'nana and me ' on the project.

That said I won't be worrying about it until after Easter.

We are going away. We will probably just send flowers to our moms. I won a weekend trip to the mountains last summer and never used it, so we are going for Mother's Day. It should be fun!

I didn't realize this, but that's the weekend my in laws are coming to visit. I wonder if my mil did that on purpose...we will probably go to brunch or something.
