Spring Break

I didn't plan a trip for this spring break. DD is going to daycare and I'm going to work on school, grad school, and house work.

I forgot that this is the week that literally everyone leaves Michigan and goes south! There are 12 people who work at my little school and I am the only one still in this state. The others are on a cruise, in Colorado, Cancun, Florida, South Carolina, or Gulf Shores. Now I feel bad that we aren't going anywhere and that DD is neglected.

Anyone else traveling for spring break?

DD1 spring break starts the Thursday before Easter and goes for the whole week after Easter. We are taking the auto train (amtrak train that your car goes on) down to FL. My parents are in Jacksonville for a couple months so we are visiting them. We got a hotel on the beach, I'm super excited!

Our spring break was last week. I watch 2 other kids and both their moms are teachers, so it was just me and DS all week. We took a 2 day trip to a nearby indoor waterpark. It was nice to get away, but DS is still too young to really enjoy it. My SIL just had a baby, so we spent 2 days helping her out over spring break too.
