Hi everyone! I've been super busy and haven't had the chance to announce the birth of my baby boy He was born on Saturday, 3/29/14 at 10:43 p.m. He was 7lbs 9.2 oz and 20 inches long I was 38 weeks 5 days pregnant. His due date was April 7th. Here is a little info about his birth.

Friday morning after some lovin with the hubby I started having contractions. I wasn't sure if they were Braxton's or the real deal. Since I went to the hospital at 35 weeks with contractions every 5 min apart, I didn't really know what to think because these contractions were coming 5 min apart as well. Ended up taking a nap, taking a bath and trying to see if they would go away, went to bed and woke up that morning still having them. They weren't bad and I could talk function and do regular things. Ended up going about my day as usual and went out with the hubby. Around 1 I realized that they were still coming so we decided to just go get checked out. Got to the hospital around 2 o clock and I was 2 cm 90% effaced. My midwife told me to go walk around and see if the contractions were working toward anything. We walked for an hour, stopping to breathe for every contraction and came back to get checked. Within an hour I got to 4 cm. So my midwife said it was go time and we got in a room. My contractions were coming every 2 minutes pretty much the whole time. My body was working real quick! I got in the tub and spent pretty much the whole time there with the hubby rubbing my back during each contraction. Got checked around 8 o clock because I felt the need to push and I was 8cm! Next thing I know I hit 10 and it's time to start pushing! I pushed for 45 min and he was out. All the nurses and docs told me that his birth was rare because he was my first and came so quick,and I didn't need any pain meds. I knew he wouldn't make it to his due date and am so in love with my little guy!
