rec your LO's rain jacket (and sun hat!)

Hearing other parents at daycare mention their LO's rain jackets, I realized that LO doesn't have anything waterproof to wear. Most nice looking rain coats I've found while browsing the interwebs start at 2T. I think I can get away with an 18mo size (LO's currently in 12mo - but I'd like for this to last through the summer), but certainly not 2T.

Anyone have any luck finding cute rain jackets for their LOs?

I'm also considering buying a sun hat, but LO pretty much hates hats, so I'm not sure if it's worth the investment. Regardless, I figure I should get some recommendations in case LO changes his hat-disliking ways.

Unfortunately, the cheaper ones are those heavy vinyl ones and they're a pain in the ass because they're so bulky and stiff (and you can't use them in the car seat). The thin ones are great but pricey, like LL Bean:

That's the one I was looking at! I'm cool with spending the money, but I think LO would absolutely swim in a 2T - I really wish they came in smaller sizes!

ETA: totally nevermind - I really missed the fact that there was an infant's tab on the page.

Wow, I don't even have a rain jacket. Just normal jackets and hoodies for us. For a sun hat last year, I had this hat:

I plan on getting something similar this year. However, LO already pulls his winter hats off his head, so I can't imagine his sun hat will stay put that long.

For when your littles are older, I highly recommend this kick ass raincoat if they love superheroes. It gets ALL the compliments

My LO has a Patagonia raincoat. Size 12 months. It's super cute. I'm sure it was also über expensive, but my Aunt bought it for her.
