Eruption cyst??

@WorkinIt (sooooo sorry if I've tagged the wrong person!!)
So J just cut his first upper front tooth a few days ago.
This afternoon I noticed the other front tooth (not erupted) is blue/purple and looks like a bruise.
Unrelated(or related...) he has a fever and a croupy cough. We were at the pedi this am and it definitely wasn't discolored then.
Anyone else have anything like this happen to their LOs?
Cause for concern?

The tooth has yet to erupt but the other front just did.
He has been so sick and I was so worried it was related, despite the fact they seem unrelated.
He did pull my hand towards his face earlier yesterday while on the changing table... and it did feel like it bonked him in the mouth.
My anxiety has been so high with this fever and cough
He does not want to let me in his mouth so I'm not sure if it's bothering him, especially since he is overall clingy and whiney (I'm not complaining, just stating...poor bunny does not feel well!)
