Also, I am sooooooo tired. T woke up last night just before 12. She went back to sleep easily but had woken me up from a DEEP sleep and so it took me hours and hours and hours to go back to sleep.

I try to not look at the time when I can't sleep, but I heard the birds this morning before I fell asleep. Man, it is so frustrating when you can't go to sleep and it isn't the baby keeping you up!

Now I'm working to a deadline and it's all I can do to stay awake. Gah!

I'm debating going to the park with Emma this morning or just staying home and relaxing all day. Yesterday we ran errands all morning, then I made 4 dinners to freeze for the nights I work. I am liking having 2 days off in the middle of the week to get things done. I heard from my husband last night he changed his flight to a day earlier so he will be home Friday morning just as I will be walking out the door for work. I can't wait to see him again and h hope he doesn't have to leave again for a long while.

I am at work this morning. DH started his new job on Monday which means we had to switch Sawyer's daycare. We really liked the new daycare when we toured but I have decided that I don't like it. Maybe it is because it is a bigger center so Sawyer's class is a lot bigger and he doesn't get as much individual attention, but I had a meltdown before I had to drive to work this morning. Now I am sitting at work counting the hours until I get to go and pick him up!

Okay, now for something completely frivolous -- anyone have good paint color suggestions? Now that we are in contract on the apartment I am having decorating fever. Do you have a paint color in your home that you absolutely love? It is so difficult to choose without having lived with a color.

We need to paint, our bedroom, L's room, study (small) and two bathrooms.

These are my thoughts so far:

Our bathroom: https://www.dwellstudio.com/DwellStudio-Old-Glass-Wall-Paint-DWL4670.html (haven't seen it in person)

L's bathroom: https://www.benjaminmoore.com/en-us/paint-color/admiralblue (I would love his bathroom to be a bold color to balance out the pale colors/white in the other rooms but am afraid this will make bathroom look smaller)

No thoughts yet about L's room or the study, which DH is going to turn into "his" room. Living room is going to be white with some wallpaper wall accent.

Go forth! Decorate my apartment!

@legalbeagle1‌ if you accent the darker blue bathroom paint with lighter accessories it should balance out. If it's a super small half bath, I'd go with a lighter color. But if it's a decent size with a window, then the dark should be fine

Thanks! @stephcarter It is sadly/happily a loft so no windows in the bathrooms and it is small but a full. Mostly I wanted a color that would go with this cute shower curtain: https://www.landofnod.com/maritime-shower-curtain/s144017

Both bathrooms are currently baby blue, which I hate, but probably to remedy the no-window, small-bathroom thing.

Thanks! I have been looking this morning but DH thinks I am being crazy. I went and talked to the director at his old center and sent an e-mail to the head guy to see if he will make an exception for us since Sawyer has been there since he was 3 months old. Now I just have to wait and see if he responds to my e-mail. Fingers crossed.

That curtain is pretty awesome. And since it's mostly white, it'll brighten up the bathroom if you do decide to go w the navy.

Herr is a corner in my living toom @legalbeagle1‌. Its Behr paint. The darker is Pewter Mug. The lighter is something I cant remember. But basically it looks white until you see it against something. I love my colors! (Also, please don't judge the painting skills. Or the dust. LOL)

Oh my god my kid is a freaking mess today. Since dropping the paci, she is waking up at 6:45 instead of 7:30 and WILL NOT go back down. I am unimpressed. So here it is not even 9:30 and she is an absolute wreck and in desperate need of a nap. Which she is refusing to take since it's too early. Blah.

We are in teething / tantrum / not sleeping / allergy hell. Help.me. Dosing my buddies up with Ibuprofen.

Tried having lunch with a friend today and DS2 was a nightmare. I barely got to chat and enjoy my Red Robin

And hello 86 degrees yesterday, today, and the rest of the week. My a/c is on as of today. Can't open windows because we're all suffering from this pollen. It's out of control. DS1'S school parking lot was covered in yellow. Can't wait to head north on Saturday!

Oh yeah. Looks like the back molars are working their way up now. Swollen back gums and hands in her mouth to go with the wailing. Luckily the teething tabs helped enough for her to calm down and get some rest.

@Hismom12 Oh lord, so this isn't just a phase??? Ungh. LOL Honestly, I really should be getting up earlier so we can both eat before I go get my niece at 8. This just gives me a reason to quit being so lazy.

@WanderingStars23 Jealous!!! I would love to do a ghost tour here in town. Apparently Anchorage is quite haunted with gold miners and those who died in the '64 earthquake.

We had a vendor bring us goodies from a bakery today and I have definitely pigged out on them! So yummy! They brought rolls with ham and cheese baked inside! They were amazing and a angel food cake with wipped cream and strawberry and peaches inside. I am in food heaven over here!

My niece came in asking if therr was anything she could do to earn some money to hang out with her friend this weekend. I pawned all my dishes off on her. Woot. She is still looking for a few more bucks so I may pawn my laundry off on her too. All 473646372 loads I need to fold. No dishes or laundry today? Best $20 ever. Lol

@legalbeagle1‌ our tiny full bath is a deep blue I was terrified it would make it feel small but it feels the same to me. We added the white wainscoting and that brightens it up a lot. The only window is inside the shower so the light from that doesn't help much. We also have 2/ 2 light fixtures over the double sinks. It is probably my favorite color in the house.
I also love my bedroom color it is also dark but I wanted a relaxing dark color so it is a deep teal and the ceiling is like an oatmeal.

I love the shower curtain you picked and think the white in it will lighten the room up.

Took the littlest girl to have an ultrasound on her hips to check for dysplasia. Results were normal, yay for that.
C had her first day at a new day care today and it went really well. She napped 3 hours! I like this place so far, I hope it stays that way.

We just got home from our last pediatrician appointment. He had one more breathing treatment and the rest I will do at home as he needs them. So glad that he is all better now!! I will sleep really well tonight!
