so last time i was on here everyone knows what my issue was with telling my fiance about how our baby is a girl. hes just always wanted a boy so bad i was super scared to disappoint him! well i thought maybe id do a reveal for him at my shower..but lots of you let me know how bad of an idea that was! i didnt like hearing it that night because i was so stressed about everything but you really made me think about it all! and youll all be so happy to know that thats not how i told him. my shower is may 18, but last time i saw him i told him in person because i just couldnt wait and i was so scared about what would happen in front of everyone if i said something!
so last time he was here and i saw him he knew something was wrong. i was just so stressed about it all and i didnt like not telling him the truth! he had such a nice day planned for us...he always plans something nice when he comes to see me! we went for a nice drive up the coast...it was such a beautiful day and we had the top down on the car..the sunshine and the wind was so refreashing! he brought us out to this beautiful location and had a nice picnic lunch set out for us! i was so quiet he just knew something was wrong and he was so sweet and gentle and just kept telling me to tell him. i was crying and he thought that i was upset because we were just going driving for the day. i had to tell him NO!! i love all the days you plan for us! and then i just told him that our little princess is a princess! and girls...he wasnt mad at me!!! he actually kind of laughed a little and told me that i was so silly to be so worried and of course hes excited for our little baby girl to come!
we are planning our wedding still and were planning on going to england to live after the baby is here! he is interviewing nannys for me while he is there and looking for the perfect lady to help me with our princess! i had to put my notice into work and quit a few weeks ago, because theres so many rules about pregnant ladys and flying in airplanes and i am so excited to focus on everything with my little family!
thank you all so much for all your sweet advice and all your help and encouragement while i tried to figure this out you girls are just the best!

My engagement ring is a pinkish purple sapphire, untreated, all natural set in rose gold. Wedding band is Tiffany's rose gold too. I think it brings out the sparkle in the stones.
Glad to hear that you were honest with your fiancé and that he's excited. As he should be!
Some people don't do it because it is an unnecessary cost. Some people just don't know about it. To each their own I say.
Goes with everything and you don't have to worry about spit up.
