I know amazon has a pretty good deal on formula. But I was wondering if there was a better deal somewhere else. So where's the best deals to buy formula? Thanks
I know my friend did the Amazon mom deliveries for diapers, wipes, and formula. I don't remember brand specifics, but she liked it because it was less expensive and convenient.
My pedi told us at the last visit it was fine to buy generic she said it's the sane as the name brand ( we use similac sensitive .. We've been buying the target brand it's about $10-15 dollars less ..

Our pedi also said he's not a "formula snob" and said the generic is just as good (they all have to meet very specific requirements when it comes to formula). We are about to try out the SAMs brand of Enfimils gentlease, it's $26.99 for 42 oz. hopefully he'll be ok on if otherwise we'll stick with target brand. It's $26.99 for 38 oz.
SAMs club has the largest containers that I've found around here and will let you use the Similac 'checks' for $5 off. With dd, using the coupon they had the best price per ounce. Not sure if that is still the case this time as I haven't calculated yet!
If you get the similac or enfamil coupons Target will let you stack them. My mom and sister signed up too and they give me all the ones mailed to their house as well. Target puts formula on sale often and if you can hit a sale plus have the stacking coupons you can get formula for next to nothing

Whoa I didn't know that! Thanks for the info!
We are buying the Target brand of Similac Advanced. You get almost twice as much formula as the name brand for the same price. Also, there is almost always a Cartwheel deal for it, and if you use your Redcard its another 5% off.

THIS!! Just got back from target. They sell the Similac Advance in 1lb 4oz containers for $25. The "Up & Up" brand is 2lb 8oz for the same price!!!
I texted my SIL (NICU nurse, mother of 2) to ask her opinion of it. She said it's the exact same thing. When we compared nutrition facts, the ONLY difference is the acid content, targets has the lower amount! Also, SIL taste tested and said the target brand tastes better, it has a slight sweetness to it!
Has anyone noticed that the SAMs version of gentle ease has a strong smell? I couldn't decide if it was normal since the regular gentle ease doesn't have one.

Has anyone tried the SAMs gentlease yet? I'm a little nervous to switch off target and go through another fussy week of trying to adjust if it's too harsh. I'm loving that @kls33145 discovered targets has less acid.. I was beginning to think LO has acid reflux but that should help right? I feel clueless.

We tried it but we had a few fussy days which may be completely normal but with the smell being strong I was worried maybe I got a bad can or something so I stopped. We need to try it again bc everything ive read says awesome things about it.
For those of you that have switched to target/SAMs brand etc., did you gradually switch over (half name brand/half store brand etc) or did you just completely switch? I want to switch to target brand but not sure if I should do it gradually or just the next time I run out, buy target brand!
Re: Buying formula
