Got a call from the genetic doctor today with results from MaterniT21. Apparently, baby is missing one chromosome, which is Turner's Syndrome. He said they are born and raised girls, but are neither girl nor boy. Very scary, have to schedule amniocentesis tomorrow. I'm terrified of the amnio

1st BFP-8/17/12! Missed Miscarriage discovered @ 8 week US. D&C.
2nd BFP-2/13/13! Blighted Ovum discovered @ 8 week US. Natural miscarriage.
3rd BFP-5/22/13! By early June, progesterone plummeting. Another loss.
August 2013 - started Donor Egg process, but surprise BFP with my own eggs.

And, I hope you don't mind me saying this.... but a friend of my best friend in High School had Turner's. She was definitely a girl! (Unable to conceive, though.) She was a bit on the shorter side... and she used that to her full advantage. She was an AMAZING gymnast. I only hung out with her a few times, but she was awesome. You would have never known that she had anything unique going on.

Your little girl will absolutely be 100% girl even with Turner's! She will need hormone treatments d/t the lack of sex hormones.
Prayers out to you, hopefully the blood test is wrong.

PS if you do it in a sensitive way you could consider paging on the IF board to see if any Turner's ladies are hanging out there at the moment. (As others have noted fertility can be an issue.) They could tell you more.
