It's the beginning of the month. We have 8 month olds!! So, what's new?
LO cut his first tooth a few weeks ago. He only has one lonely bottom right tooth.
He's started rolling from back to belly now. It's keeping him up at night after his motn feeding

he's starting to sleep longer stretches now. He slept 8 hrs for the past 2 days. (I think I just jinxed it)
he tilts his head to see people who are hiding behind an object
Re: what's new with your LO 7-8m edition
He's been crawling for the last 3-4 weeks. He's getting faster and starting to pull-up on low objects. He is clapping & very, very excitable! Last night we went to an Italian restaurant for my husband's birthday and he was so excited to be sitting across from his brother that he was clapping & happy screeching the entire meal. I thought the old lady across from me was going to shoot bullets at me with her eyes.
He's a happy baby.
I think she understands certain words (like "nap" for those of you who saw my FB video). She had no problem bringing food to her mouth. Still had some issues "chewing" it though.
She's gotten over her hatred of being worn and the stroller which makes outtings much more enjoyable. Still working on sleeping though...
Also, we cut our first tooth last night!
She can roll front to back and back to front, sit for long periods unsupported and go from laying down to sitting. She crawls forward at a good clip now, and she also pulls up and cruises a few steps in each direction.
She's a pretty happy kid for the most part, but she really wants to be doing whatever her big sissy is doing!
Eats like a lil goat. Starting to chew really well. Still isn't using fingers to pick up, he palms the food and shoves it in his mouth. It's kinda funny if he drops it before it gets to his mouth and he takes a huge bite of air. He looks so crestfallen.
His 3rd tooth is poking thru. Soon he will have 3 bottom teeth. He loves his dogs--always tying to pet them and he gets all excited when he sees them. Recognizes familiar faces and spaces. Loves to talk.
Eta- still no sttn either. She is up a lot.. I'm tired but that's what tea and coffee is for

He can sit up... And that's about it.
He likes to trick me every night, one night he will STTN, the next night he will wake up three or four times. It's a fun guessing game.
He reaches for me and will give me kisses (open mouth and tongue out).
Oh and he holds his hands by hi side and clenches his fist and grunts when he is angry.
Aug.13 May Siggy Challenge: Moms
His two front bottom teeth cut through on Feb 28th.
He just learned how to sit by himself.
He is really great at picking things up with his hands.
Knows the signs for milk and jump.
Understands mama, dada and car ride/ bye bye.
He still isn't 'talking' he just blows raspberries... at everyone. lol
OaD August siggy challenge- fav show that's off the air:
He's now only waking one time per night to eat which is a major development in this household. He is starting to pull up on everything too!
His personality is ridiculous! He's a happy, silly boy. He's started to shake his head back and forth. He holds up his hands for patty cake and laughs. He likes to turn the pages for us during story time. All of his toys go straight to his mouth. Bath time is like a trip to Disney for him.
Your angel is sooo cute @KatieS7
We did go to The Happiest Place on Earth last week. No, not Disney. The lighting and ceiling fans aisle of Lowe's. IT WAS EPIC!
He just started crawling, sitting up on his own, and pulling up all this week. We just got into April but already it's been a busy month for N!
Rolling? Eh who needs it. Lol she can do both ways, but hardly does. She babbles to know end and often talks to "ba bwa". During some cries/whines, "momma" has come out and it melts my heart.
For foods, she's mostly purees and is going well with them. Chicken isn't happening, loves yogurt. Having MumMums but that's really it. Probably going to puffs soon.
