Follicle Check...not what I was expecting.

So yesterday I went for my first follie check and I had 5 measureable follicles. 13mm, 12mm, 10mm, 9mm, and 7mm. Im having daily ultrasounds so went back today and had NO growth. I wont lie, I am kind of sad. My doc is doubling my Gonal F dose from 75iu to 150iu. 

Has anyone ever had this happen? Im already miserable from side effects, so I guess its safe to assume that I will have worse s/e the rest of the week til trigger?

    Nope. I only monitored ED towards the end of my stims and by that point they weren't doing much anyway. Are you doing IUI or just stims and TI? 

    Also, I always stim with Follistim/ Menopur and never had any side effects besides lots of bloating.

    I go in for my check tomorrow and am on 263 gonal f + menopur, (since Friday, so day 6 stims is tomorrow) no side effects except bloating and emotional (but than one has been this whole cycle- who knows). It will probably pick up now that they doubled it- 75 seems low to me- but I know everyone is different! Hoping they respond and good things coming!!!

    My doc told me that sometimes growth isn't super steady, I.e. The same amount each day. Also if different docs are measuring you each day - their idiosyncrasies in measuring can account for the difference, or lack there of. Both have happened to me with Ivf cycles. Good luck!
    Trying for #2 with IVF after damage done in a D&C left me with one functioning (but too scarred) ovary and tube to get pregnant safely without assistance. It's a really, really long story, but that is the gist of it.  We have one daughter (whose c-section birth started this roller coaster) born in 2012 after a miscarriage in 2011. 
    Failed 1st attempt at IVF (Fresh ET day 3, 1 frozen embryo saved) in December 2013.  
    Failed 2nd attempt at IVF (Fresh ET day 5, 2 frozen embryos saved) in February 2014.

    My first time taking gonal, by the end of the cycle I was taking 300iu.  I started at 150 on CD3, upped to 187.5 on CD7, upped to 225 on CD10 and 300 on CD11.  This time we went straight to 300 since that is what had worked for us in the past.
     TTC #1 since June 2008
    M/C @ 6 weeks 12/31/2008, Ectopic @ 6 weeks on 4/23/2010
    Diagnosed Unexplained 11/2009-DH is fine-I don't get AF
    Cycle #22 - 1/27/11 - IUI #1 & Injections - BFP! - DS born 11/11/11 
    TTC#2 - 2/24/14 - IUI & Injections - BFP! - EDD 11/29/14

    I used follistim with my son, and it worked on 100iu. However Gonal F is what my insurance covers so its what we are gonna use. I just got back from todays u/s and I had growth (the largest was 15mm) and two more 12mm follies popped up overnight on my left ovary. We were shocked to say the least.

    :( How many more days of stims are you going to go?  They talk about upping your meds?

    They doubled my dose 2 days ago because I had no growth. Yesterday things looked awesome, they grew 3mm and two more follies popped up overnight. However, today only 1 grew 1mm. Im not sure how many more days they will give me. This is starting to feel like my first round of injections with my son. I stimmed for 2 weeks before they cancelled me. *sigh*
