Baby Names on the brain

I obviously have the baby rabies, we all know that, but lately I have been all about baby names and planning what we will name #2 someday (providing MH isn't as annoying about hating my names as he was the first go around) So my question to everyone is:

What are your top 3 girl names and boy names for the next baby? Preggos that don't want to give name choices away, oh well. Spill it! ;)

    Mine are these:

Girls: Demi, Gwyneth (Gwen), and Mabry

    Boys: Kai, Sawyer, and Rowan

Granted, MH will probably nix every last one of these.

Oh and I forgot I also love Hillary (Hilly for short) for a girl and Thatcher for a boy!

  • @aimee223 I adore Calvin! MH hastes it and I wanted it so badly for K, but Kellen sounds similar so obviously I wouldn't use it for a second son ever now.

If we have a girl she will most likely be Vera Elizabeth. We also like Claire and Lucille... Boy will mostly likely be Marshall Stafford. But I also like Charles...

    Love Vera!

Millie was on my short list for Emma!  Sophie, Clara. I'd love to be able to use Elena as a middle name. (mine and my moms)

Boys: Landon.  I had the hardest time with boys names, and future kiddos aren't really on my mind so that's all I have for now.

  • I'm 99.9% sure if I have a boy this time his name will be Gideon. I still like Ian, but I'm strongly leaning toward and have already pretty much made my mind up about Gideon.

    Girl:
Marlow. I was also 99% on this and now I'm starting to second guess it. I really think boy this time so if it's a girl I will be shocked and revisit girl names.

Turkish MN's are way up in the air. Haven't figured it out yet. Although MH is calling this fetus Fati because he thinks it's funny.

  • I could give you my top TEN favorite of both and H has already nixed all of them lol If we have a girl next I like the names Logan and also Chandler (but I always think of Friends so maybe will just name our dog Chandler) I like old school names like Charlotte and Eloise but H isn't having it.

I KNOW that whether it is a girl or boy we will have Cooper's Godfather's name as a middle name (Cason) just to honor him. If it is a boy we will probably name it after my husband, Hunter

  • Girls: Gianna -my favorite and my husband hates this name.  :(

              Elise

             Aubrey-  his choice.

             Evangeline

Boys: Anthony- again husband doesn't agree

              Landon- his choice.

              Ethan

We agree on nothing.  I picked both kids names and dislike all of his choices.  :)

For a girl lately I've been loving Audrina Jane. Also still like Belle or Bella which was our second pick for Ava. I like Anna too but it sounds funny with Ava.

For a boy we have already agreed on Luke.
  • We like pretty classic names. If either boy had been a girl, he would have been Elizabeth "Libby" Marie. Other contenders included:

    Girls: Margaret, Katherine, Caroline

    Boys: Charles, Luke, Benjamin

Boys: Harrison (would it be weird to have a Henry and a potential "Harry"? even though I wouldn't call him that I feel like it is bound to happen), Thomas, & Brian
DS1 is Harrison.  I didn't have a problem with Harry as a nickname when we initially put it on our list, but we've never called him Harry.  Harrison suits him better.  He has always gone by Harrison with family, friends and school.

We haven't discussed names at all.  Avery was our top choice if DS2 was a girl and I've really liked Eloise for a while.  DH and I usually have a tough time deciding on names.  For boys, I like Griffin and Oliver a lot right now and generally like last names as first names.
