Thursday Random

this morning Murray from Sesame Street was in the playground where they go to play during E's school day. Baby brush with fame!

Re: Thursday Random

  • Today has already started off wrong.  My cat stepped in her own poop and jumped onto my bed with poopy feet, I almost rolled over and got it in my mouth.  Then I had to give her a bath by myself (thanks DH for leaving for work and not saying anything!) and now am about to put the sheets in the wash. Then I have to clean up her poop footprints on the floor.

It can only go up from here, right?

Girl tried to wake up for the day at 5:20. Not happening kid. Go back to bed.

Except now I'm awake. So I am searching for tattoo ideas. Everything I can find is just so cliche and tacky. I may have to stick with just words. :(

  • My belly hurts today :( I forgot to take my BC pill the night before last (first time in so long) and I'm praying AF doesn't come early because I missed one.

I've actually thought of you when watching Sesame Street @lady dixneuf‌ wondering if they ever film near you
I should say we saw Murray on TV, not them filming. but yes, usually when they're outside I know where they are!

  • here's a crazy one. We have to go in for the MMR booster next week bc there is a measles outbreak in our neighborhood. Usually kids don't get it until age 4.

We had a measles outbreak a couple years ago and I took DD in for her booster. DS1 was too young to get his and she was in daycare. She didn't have to get it at 4, so that was good.
yeah I mean, at the end of the day, he's going to get it anyway. But the whole thing is so absurd.

  • @BandEddie we are doing 18 month pics as well so I think it's a thing! Do what makes you happy. That's what my H is always telling me.

Does your DH give lessons??? LOL!
Don't get to excited he still fails to see the dishes that need to be washed, or how to put a dirty dish in the dishwasher and is oblivious if the baby has a dirty diaper no matter how bad the odor that is coming off of it. :)

  • I'm bored and Ashley is sick again so she is sleeping. At least my house is clean. I got my swimsuit that I ordered from ebay, the top fit great however the bottoms no so much. I think I will wear a cute pair of board shorts instead.
  • Hahaha @ChrisG83‌ mission accomplished!
    Oh you are sneaky!  [-X

oh man my H is great w diapers and does all the  dishes! swoon.
I couldn't even get into a pissing match about it, because I have nothing with which to piss. There's a reason I call myself a married single mother of four.
I'm right there with you! I sometimes feel like I have two babies at home!

I have to give him credit - he is good with the kids. Cooks for them, does diapers with (mostly) no complaint). But the house? His belief is that he makes the money so he shouldn't have to clean. He does the bare minimum to avoid argument, and that's only when he's feeling charitable. It kind of sucks honestly.
That is good that he does diapers! Mine wont touch them, his excuse is I am much faster at it.  My H does help me by doing the laundry, just not folding and he does take care of the front and back yard, but there are times on the weekend where both my H and my son are whinning and I will send them both down for a nap, so I can have some me time!

Rearranging my living room. We have lots of stuff and nowhere to put it. Blah. I think once I get stuff put away in here, it'll look a lot more open. I hope.

  • I can't stand my kids today. DS1 has been whining about his sore throat all day and I just want to smack him. I know it hurts but good Lord just STOP IT! DS2 has canines coming in and has been a clingy mess for days. I just want to lock myself in my bedroom and let them fend for themselves. I've been fine with them for such a long time but I think it's because we're so close to leaving for my parents' house that I just want it to freaking be time already. Time for some help and hopefully time for myself.

I thought about calling a babysitter so I could get a break but I couldn't bring myself to do it when we're so close to having free grandparent babysitting for a couple weeks.

I need a big old drink.

  • Bunnies eat books, FYI. Especially if it's a house bunny.

Dammit I just donated all my old college textbooks...

  • Totally inappropriate since you're talking about adorable pet bunnies, but I've always wanted to try rabbit.
