I was under the impression that was a tongue-in-cheek post. At least for some of the participants. Please tell me those people aren't torturing babies with flashcards.

You should be proud of Nate- he's a bright and capable kid.

I feel like this comes up all the time, and I'm always surprised at how many people are doing flash cards with their toddlers/preschoolers.

What's ridiculous is that I also did pretty well. I took it in the midst of re-doing DH's library and was spending entirely more time in Ikea than his healthy trying to get a complete set of Billy bits and other random crap I couldn't live without.

I scored abysmally :) I wouldn't know a death metal band if they came up and bit me in the face. I'm going to send the link to DH. It's just his cup of tea. Thanks for the laugh this morning!

We started using flashcards with DS1 after age 2 when he actually showed an interest in it.  He likes them!  *shrug*
Why can't I get the cursor to go below the quote-d space?  Oh well.

  • @greyt00‌ - sorry, I didn't mean to sound like a jerk. It's a topic that comes up regularly on the SAHMs board.
