3D/4D

I'm very intrigued to get a 3D/4D ultrasound done of my baby, she's our first, but I wanted to know when would be the optimal time to do it during pregnancy, in terms of baby development progress, when would you get the best images?

I'm almost 26 weeks.

The elective shops usually say around 30 weeks or so I believe.

They recommended 30 weeks when I had mine with DS, because I have twins this time they've told me 28 weeks is ideal. Getting a 3D/4D U/S with my son was one of my favorite memories of my pregnancy.

My place recommended the optimal time as 27-30 weeks so I went in at 27 exactly. I got wonderful images!! I was just looking at them the other day, comparing them to my son and it really shouldn't amaze me how much they look like him.. since it was him! He's 3 1/2 weeks now and we were definitely able to tell what he looked like on the ultrasound.

We were told 28-32w. We did one at 29w with DD. The pictures we did get were great, but she was head down and facing my spine, so it was hard to get many pictures of her face.
