Getting excited!

39 weeks, 2 days today and had an OB appointment this morning. 2cm dilated, 50% effaced. Did a membrane sweep. The OB I want to deliver us is on Saturday and Sunday! He's awesome and also the head of the practice so keeping my fingers crossed! Good luck and prayers for all us April ladies (with inside and outside babies)!!! Edit: MD also said she was really low and her head is in my pelvis. I'm now having Braxton kicks frequently and am crampy, but I'm pretty sure this is to be expected. Not likely to be labor yet.

    I had that done yesterday at 39w2d! I was 2 cm and 80% effaced. I thought I was in labor still kinda do. Had horrible menstral like cramps for 12 hours. Now they have spaced out. Good luck!!!!

    Good luck! My doctor offered to do a membrane sweep on me at my last appointment at 38w 1d, but when she was checking me she said I wasn't dilated at all and couldn't do it. :( That was disappointing.
