I am going to cloth diaper my daughter who is due in may ..., I had been reading online about different detergents that were good and safe for cloth diapers .,, so I ordered rockin green .,,, has anyone else used this ?
OP, check out the CD Roll Call thread. It shouldn't be buried too deeply (you could also try a search). Detergent is discussed there and I think the consensus has been that while some detergents are better than others, you really don't need anything special.
We're just using Tide Free and Clear for CDs. I heard Rockin' Green can cause stink issues.
Also-it's usually better to ask for opinions BEFORE you order something...
All of this. All we got from RnG was ammonia buildup and horrible ammonia burns on my kid's bum. We switched to tide and haven't had a lick of problems since! Well other than the teething/diarrhea we have been dealing with for almost 2 weeks. But that's a different story. Even sposies and triple paste couldn't keep up with him.
Congrats to my GP Sister from another mister Bruinsbabe!!

well damn. i hate april fools and i'm terrible at figuring out if someone is serious or not, in this case i just wasn't sure because i feel like i've seen a new thread about laundry detergent everyday.
My friend swears by it. I use Boulder's, I get it at Costco. It's by a company in Boulder. Natural with no crazy stuff in it. I use funk rock by Rock n Green to get any ammonia build up. I found that was happening with some of the other detergents I was using before I switched.
