Period?

Okay, this is probably a stupid question, but - I think I had a period last week but am not sure. It was super light, I almost didn't even need a panty liner, just saw some blood/pink when I wiped and it lasted for a few days. I EBF and I know periods are supposed to be nonexistent or light but I'm still not sure if that was even it. Of course, I don't know what else in the world would cause spontaneous bleeding from the vagina, which is why this feels like a dumb question. :)) Has anyone else had a period that was that light?

    I EBF too and I'm 12 weeks pp. I bled up until 10 1/2 weeks on and off. I supposedly stopped at 9 weeks, but it came back so I thought it was my period. This is our body coming up to speed with everything and you can still have a period while breastfeeding.

    7 weeks pp with EBF and I got my period. It's much lighter than normal though. Totally sucks!

    EBF and 12 weeks PP. I think I might be ovulating based on cervical mucous. (TMI???) We'll see. Not looking forward to the first one. Last time my first pp period was like a horror movie, although the cramping wasn't as bad as I was used to. (Maybe because compared to contractions my body was like "This is nothing!")

    I experienced something similar to the OP a few weeks ago (about 9wks pp)...it was very light and came and went for a couple of days with mild cramping. I also thought I wouldn't see my period for a while yet bc I EBF. Guess breakthroughs here and there can be expected!

    I had it, 2 weeks later I had what I thought was ovulation from what I noticed on CM...and yep 2 weeks later got my period - for an entire week!  Ugh.  5 days later - period number 2.  I'm not kidding.  And it sucks.

    @LadyFilet - you can have your period while BFing.  I got my period back at 3 months with DD1, and she was EBF'd until 1 year.  It never missed a month either.
