So so tired...

Is anyone else still dealing with extreme fatigue? Getting through the day is a struggle, even after a twelve hour night, and a nap during the day. Has anything helped? Any tips or recommendations?

Hi, I've been dealing with this. I read and have experienced that eating 5 small meals a day has really kept my energy levels up a little more. Large meals or unhealthy snacks make it hard to keep my eyes open at all. Hope that helps!

  • My energy seems to be increasing lately... I think. Are you taking your vitamins? Extra B vitamins might help you. Have you tried exercising a little bit? Even adding a little walking might help increase your energy. How are you eating? Make sure you are eating several small healthy meals throughout your day.
  • I'm in the same boat with the extreme tiredness. :( It's hard getting through dinner. :( It is also hard to remember to eat 5 small meals while working. I need to set an alarm. :)

  • I walk my kid to daycare and then walk home, so it's a 40 minutes walk in the morning, and a 40 minute walk in the early afternoon. I've also been doing the five small meals a day and taking a prenatal vitamin. I'll try adding more fruit and vegetables to my diet.

  • Oh yeah. By 2pm, I'm ready for bed...it makes it soooo hard to get homework done and be even remotely productive. I eat small meals throughout the day, I take my vitamins, I sleep pretty well...I just can't shake the fatigue. I'm going to bring it up at my next OB appt...but that's not til the 25th

  • Are you drinking enough water? That might help.
  • I was going to say exercise because that definitely helps. But I know how hard that can be to get motivation when your extremely tired. Hopefully it passes for you soon!

  • I'm definitely having it still...but it's pretty much the norm for me because of thyroid disease. Pregnancy definitely makes me triple exhausted!
  • Soo tired. I have not been sleeping well. Restless tossing and turning. I work with 3 year olds and am on my feet and active most of the day so I am exhausted! Heading to bed right now as a matter of fact.

  • So many naps and when it becomes night time, there is so much tossing and turning. It's so hard getting motivation to get out for a walk. Then with dizziness that comes with pregnancy, I need help with this too! I do find that getting invited to do something fun helps get you out of the house and feeling less lazy.
