Anyone not get baby gift from CWers/work?

I just find it incredibly odd. I've worked there 1.5 years. I'm well liked. DH's client gave him probably $200 or more worth of gifts. His CWers in his new department [maybe a month] gave him a $100 GC. My group? Nada! I was asked by two CWers months ago where I was registered at, but haven't received anything. I did get a handmade quilt from one CWer who lives in Kansas [very domestic CWer] but she no longer works for the company. Maybe that's telling in and of itself. Anyway, anyone else get snubbed by CWers?

ETA: DH works at same company and he got "stuff" and I didn't. Also, don't want people to think I'm greedy. It's not that I want/need gifts from them, just find it odd.

    I didn't, but it wasn't because of lack of thought.  We were going through alot at the time, and my boss was swamped, so she passed the responsibility on to another CW, who was also super swamped.  They had all intentions of it, but kept putting it off, and then DS came early, so it never happened.  And then they planned on going in together and getting me a gift, but it never happened for the same reason.  But there was so much going on it didn't bother me.  And I ended up not returning to work anyway, and then a couple of months later they shut down, if that tells you anything.

    My work threw a shower for me just in the nick of time--2 days before I went unexpectedly into labor! ?But DH's work didn't even really acknowledge the pregnancy in any way which I thought was a bit odd. ?His old workplace didn't do a shower for new parents to be but would do a card or lunch. ?DH's work also wasn't very understanding about things when DS was in the NICU...not sure what that's all about... I'm a therapist and while the vast majority of my clients were very understanding about me not being able to see them for appts due to going into preterm labor and having our son in the NICU, a couple were very upset with me--like I planned or wanted this?! Sometimes I guess things just don't make sense.

    I didn't either. ?My work has thrown baby showers for employees before. ?I think the reason I was ?"forgotten" was because I had just moved to NC and was telecommuting out of my home office -- easy to forget about me. ?

    I don't find it odd at all.  I have found it odd that I've had 2 people act like work would definitely throw me a shower.  I think that'd be a little awkward.  I wouldn't object if they wanted to do it, but I don't really socialize with anyone here outside of work.  Normally, they just give $ and buy a gift if someone is having a special occasion.  But honestly, I don't expect it at all.  We don't make a ton of $ and we just all got pay cuts.  I'll be pleasantly surprised if I get anything.  But if not, my feelings won't be hurt.  It's not worth it.
