Claire Elizabeth!

Claire arrived at 12:27am today (my due date!) after a really quick labor.

Tucker and I went out for these magical labor-inducing cupcakes yesterday before heading to my appointment. At the appointment I was 3cm dilated and 0 station but didn't really think much of it. Very manageable and sporadic contractions started around 5pm but quickly became more regular. I held off going to the hospital but around 8:45 my doctor told me we needed to head in. Got to L&D at 9:30, I pretry much immediately got in the tub, labored there until 11:45ish. I got out of the tub because I felt nauseous and my water suddenly broke allllll over the place. Had 2 more contractions and on the 3rd out of nowhere I was screaming for them to get the doctor. A few pushes later and she joined the world at 6lb11oz! I feel so great today, just tired, much easier recovery than with Tucker. Going home tomorrow!
