I think the question was raised about work clothing but what about casual, weekend stuff? I ditched most of my spring, summer stuff last year because it was worn and dated. I ran over to old navy last night for a basic cami and realized that I am SO not hip when I took a quick peak around at the spring stuff. I'm probably out of the old navy age range (38)....what are some summer staples? I am usually a tshirt, shorts or skirt kind of girl of medium build and fashion clueless.

Re: NWMR Where do you shop for casual clothing?
I also shop at the Loft. Only buy when stuff is on sale, though.
Target, sometimes. But Loft and Old Navy are my main "go-to's".

Land's End isn't bad, either. Well - you have to sort out the truly matronly stuff, but their more "fitted" options are age-appropriate, well made, and cute. I live in their casual dresses in the summer. Plus random pieces here and there from ON.
