I'd like to bitch about the crappy week and a half I had... Here goes:
DH has been traveling non-stop this past month with no end in sight until May. Being alone sucks. It sucks even more hearing about how bored he is locked up in a hotel room waiting for the okay to begin his work. My dream to be locked in a hotel room with endless naps, tv and carryout right now.
Meanwhile on the home front, DS is getting four teeth and has a double ear infection, both kids came down with colds and then the pukey stomach virus hit our house for the 2nd time in 2 weeks (!!). In the middle of this, one of our best friend's father committed suicide, our other good friends welcomed a new baby only to learn she has Cystic Fibrosis. To top off the week, my Aunt and also my next door neighbor pounds on my door hysterical yesterday morning because her beloved dog was killed by a car.
So ready for April.
On the plus side DH made it home Saturday and has been amazing. He helped me bleach the house top to bottom & wash every last bit of fabric. He was also my hero yesterday by picking the dog off the road and taking him and my aunt to the vet later for his cremation.
