We used to keep it under the sink... now with young kids it's in the cabinet above the fridge. When they get older/ more interested in drinking we'll probably have to cave and buy a locking liquor cabinet or bar cart.
I have a cute little set up on the top shelf of the cabinet thingy where we keep our dishes. Only the bottom has cabinet doors, so it's all easily accessible to people of adult height. Assorted glasses, shooters, flasks, two pretty drink trays, and a few bottles of liquor. I also got this book called "Tequila Mockingbird" for Christmas that has made a nice addition.
In the freezer, or this bar/winerack thing that we have in the dining room. I need to see if it locks, but it has so far been uninteresting enough to get into.
Liquor goes on the the kitchen counter, but we never have more than a bottle at a time. I only drink white wine so that goes in the fridge (and again, I only every have one bottle at a time).

We have it on the kitchen counter and in the fridge. Once the kids are older it will be locked up or we will only buy what we plan to consume immediately.
Ours is hidden in our office. My Fil lives with us and is an alcoholic. We try not to have any in the house unless company is coming over. My husband always gets some huge bottles of booze from the contractors at work for Christmas that we hide. We learned the hard way not to leave them where they can be found. We do have a beautiful bar in our basement that would be a perfect for displaying all the booze if circumstances were different.
Ours is in a lower cabinet beside our fridge. Wine, cocktail and highball glasses are in the cabinet above that. The pint glasses and beer mugs are above the fridge. The cork screw and other drink tools are in the drawer above the liquor. We like to keep things handy.
ETA: we have a "cellar" in the basement for wine. By that I mean a giant rack in our utility room.

Liquor is in our bar in the basement. We keep wine on the counter in our kitchen. We have both a wine rack and a wine fridge, but I always forget about both.
I can't get the ticker to work, but I have two sons:
DH is the only one that drinks liquor and is pushed back on our counter so the littles can't reach. I drink wine/beer which is usually in the fridge...
We have this counter space that DH calls the "butler's pantry," and we keep it there. May rethink it once DS is more than 3 feet tall, but it works for now.
I think we might have some vodka in the freezer ... but mostly we have an embarrassing amount of whiskey in a cabinet in the kitchen. Going to have to rethink that location here in a year or two ...
We have a hutch in our dining room where we keep a few bottles of wine. We don't drink beer much but when we do it usually is gone pretty quickly. And liquor we keep in a locked cabinet in our master bathroom...due to sneaky teenage boys with too much curiosity...

So we store wine in the bottom wine rack part and liquor bottles on the little table top.
Booze doesn't last long in your house either? UP TOP!
Haha, I think my kid spends too much time on the iPad.
