I love baseball season! Anyone else? Who is your favorite team?

I am a Yankees fan! H is a Phillies fan. :-q After being together for 4 1/2 years, we have never been to a game together, for either team. (with the exception of Phillies spring training) Although I do not like the Phillies, I would like to see their stadium.

And... Two words! Baseball pants.

@Joy2611, H has season tickets that he shares with his siblings but he hasn't been to a game since before we started dating. I bug him every season to go. He was also at that World Series game and he said it was awesome!

@cjchio, our two friends are Pirates fans. We just got back from Florida for Phillies spring training and we took a ride to Bradenton to catch a Pirates game. They beat the Blue Jays 22-5.

MH is a diehard Yankers fan. That's the only reason I know who Texeira is, lol.

This screws me up because he pronounces it "Tuh-SHARE-uh" but DH's friend spells it the same way and is Tuh-SHRADE-uh" so who the fuck knows.

Detroit Tigers all day! Our opening day is like a state holiday. I haven't been to one since I moved out of state.

I love going to games. Nothing better than sitting in the stands, having a beer with friends and the sun on your face. I'll have to settle for the Colorado Rockies this summer though:)

St. Louis Cardinals born and raised. I love to watch baseball in general though so I'll watch whatever is on with the exception of two teams that I can't stand 1)Yankees 2)Chicago Cubs.

Was born and raised a Twins fan and I think Target field is the best field in baseball. Will also cheer for the Royals when they aren't playing the Twins (since DH is a Royals fan). However, at this point, I only watch games when I actually go to a game.

I freaking love baseball- love, love, love.

Yankees are my team!! Since I'm in NY. Gotta support my guys, even though I'm not in the city. (and since Hawaii has no major league team- well, you know). We're also Detroit Tigers supporters. My H is from a part in Canada very close to MI and we always go to games over the summer when we visit up there.

I grew up in St. Louis and am a Cardinals fan through and through. I live in Philly now and will root for the Phillies unless they are playing the Cardinals. Then I just keep my mouth shut so as not to risk my life. Philly sports fans are not kidding around.

@NachoBelley I live in ATL, but am a Pirates fan (lived there for 10 years and they couldn't have a winning season till I left...) AND I wear all my Pirates gear to the Braves/Prates games every year. LETS GO BUCS!!!

I also used to be a Twins fan as a kid, but only because I myself am a twin, not for any other real reason.

You have to admit though, the atmosphere at Turner Field is AWESOME! It makes me sad they are building a new stadium

Yeah, I really like going to other games as well, and I root for the Braves when they aren't playing the Pirates. Although I don't like how they moved all the street vendors away last year. I need my peanuts and crackerjacks!

I try not to think about them moving the stadium because I might not be living here in a couple years when they actually move. I'll just live in denial till then.

Another Astros fan here. Have been since I was a wee lass. Way to start the season last night!

Dh is a Rangers fan first. But now that we live near DC we root for the nats too (unless playing our team obviously) we actually have MLBtv so we can watch our TX teams

DH and I plan on visiting all the MLB parks. We have been to 8 already and will get 3-5 this summer.

Red Sox!!!

We honeymooned "with them" in Baltimore a few summers ago. They were on the road two days after we got married so we followed them, and went to all three games. We also went to the rolling rally last November! That was a big bucket list item that got crossed off my list!

I wasn't a big baseball fan, grew up in DC we had no team until recently. H is a HUGE Red Sox fan so I got into some with him. I do love now that they have a team locally to go to the games sometimes. I enjoy being there much more than watching on TV.

DH is not a sports fan... at all. He didn't even know the rules for football until he met me. Baseball is a little better, but not by much.

I, on the other hand, grew up watching and playing sports. Although baseball isn't my favorite sport, I consider myself a Braves fan since I live in Atlanta. I'll cheer for the Mets too though since I used to live in NY and I have find memories of going to their minor league team's games.

I am an Oakland A's fan, H is a San Francisco Giants fan. We try to go to the game when they play each other. I've been to Giants games with him, he has been to A's games with me. We have a mutual respect for each others teams unless we are playing each other. We had high hopes last year for a Giants / A's Battle of the Bay redo World Series. We were actually going to spend our wedding fund on World Series tickets and go to Vegas if they made it.

We ended up having a pretty awesome wedding.

Like @CountryAir13‌ , @Pipes134‌ , @Twinkie0612‌ , and @QueenOfSpades622‌ , I am a Cardinals fan! I grew up near StL, and the Cardiac Cards will always have a place in my heart.

However, like @SassyMommaC‌, my DH is a huge Cubs fan! I lived in Chicago for seven years, and I truly did love going to that dump at Clark & Addison, Wrigley Field.

Now that we live out west, DH and I are planning on doing a west coast ballpark tour. We are seeing the Angels in two weeks (David Freese!) and the Giants in about two and a half weeks. The Giants have a gorgeous stadium, I can't wait for DH to experience it. We will go see the Padres and Dodgers at some point within the next few months, too.

Game 6, 2011 World Series - Never Forget! I cried. A lot.

We also root for the Tigers since we both have family from MI and I got to attend my first Tigers game at Comerica park last summer!

Love baseball and love playing but I don't really have a team or follow MLB. I was born and raised in KS so grew up going to Royals games. After graduation I moved to CA and shortly thereafter met my husband. His family is die hard SF Giants fans but even after living in the Bay Area for 12 years I know nothing about the Giants. We just moved to Seattle so maybe we will catch a game when they play SF.

But I do love me some baseball pants!

My dad was a Sox fan, my mom loved the Yankees. I grew up rooting for both. I couldn't understand what was wrong with that. Then I got married to a Sox fan, and It kinda stuck! I did get to go to a sox/Yankees game at Fenway and we sat 6 rows behind home plate. Bucket list item!

We're divided too. DH is a White Sox fan and I'm pro-Cubs. We had to make the decision before DD1 was born that we be neutral to letting our kids choose their teams. So no baseball gear for our kids! We also agreed any games we may go to are Crosstown Classics until they start showing loyalties. ;-)

Ha, we always joke that we need to make DS a baseball outfit that's half and half... cut two jerseys in half and sew them so they button together... The Angkees... or the Yankgels..

But I have a feeling I'll eventually win the loyalties seeing as we live in Southern CA and we'll be able to actually GO to Angels games

Then if we go to a Angels/Yankee game, and when we beat them

I'll just point out to our DS "And see? This is why Daddy is wrong" ... Bwahaha

I'm a Cubbies fan. I haven't been to a professional game in a while, but we have a minor league team in my city. The mascot is a giant ear of corn. Way to ditch the stereotypes, people.

I'm a Yankees fan, DH is a Red Sox fan. We live in Seattle and go to games if one of our teams are playing and when DH is in town. Thus far its been 50/50! I watch it, get updates on the phone (not all games are aired here) I bicker with the FIL and we call it good! I can't do fantasy or anything crazy like I do for football but I follow it as close as I can from far away!

I went to college by you for a few years, before I came back to my home city to go to college.

Go Kernels! It's a fun cheap thing to do during the summer
