Pretty disappointed I'm starting this thread tonight since I was hoping for a 6-7 hour stretch, but I'll take 5 hours (8 to 1). DD is sleeping on me now. I'll transfer her back to the RNP soon and try to go back to sleep.
Getting back to sleep after waking up has been hard for me. I try to do my Hypnobirthing relaxation, but get easily distracted. What do you do to help you fall back asleep?

BFP#5 Praying for another rainbow in February!
I decided to check his diaper and found his pajamas soaked. So after screaming bloody murder through a diaper/pajama/reswaddle (with both arms in) he's net eating like he's never going to eat again.
Sometimes it take me a while to fall to sleep, but usually motn isn't bad it's the first stretch. I just try and clear my head and snuggle under my blankets.

Those of you using the halo sack, is LO having a difficult time with the legs/feet part? It is like Abby is too long or acts like she is. Yesterday (Monday) she weighed 10.3lbs at the doc office (10w) and her last length measurement was 22.25in long (at 2 months) she seems to get her feet stuck in the sack as she is kicking them up and it frustrates the hell out of her. Her legs reach the end of the sack as well. I actually bought a halo sleeper in a bigger size to give her more leg room but it straps differently and is still too big for her torso so the extra material makes me worried for her to sleep with near her face. I'm thinking of leaving the sack open and just strapping her arms but will need to find something to keep her legs warm with. Anyone else having similar issues? (If I'm even making any sense!)

@precious72381 - I don't use the halo, but I do have a swaddleme and my DD does the same thing with her legs! But I, too, am nervous about the fabric around her face. When I place her in the swaddle, I leave about two inches of space between the blanket and her ears, so her shoulders stick out of the swaddle a bit. Could you try that? Hopefully that makes sense...
I've been so exhausted I usually just crash at night. I have a hard time napping, so I usually only sleep at night.

When she's pushing against the sack, have you tried just placing your hand on her chest and shushing/gently rocking back and forth? That's what we do when he's particularly frustrated.
ETA: Maybe sometime I'll try to do a video so you can see how he fusses.
I attached two pics I took this morning. She was wide awake and wanting her diaper changed so they aren't accurate MOTN pics but you can kinda see what she does that makes her so mad.

Have you considered getting one of those incline pillows for her mini crib? I think that the first step is to see if the meds work, of course, but that might be another option to consider. I was ready to order one myself but then suddenly, his nighttime symptoms improved. Not eating during the night definitely helps with that, though, so we needed to get him to a point where he needed to eat less frequently at night and figure out when it was best to give him the meds. Now we're on a good roll here. If he doesn't eat as much during the times when he needs to be flat on his back, he is less uncomfortable and grunts/whimpers less.
I agree that if she eats less during the night, it will help but we are slowly working on sleeping longer. It's a process but already seeing some differences. The gas drops before a feeding seems to help too.

I like the summer brand swaddles. They have a zipper at the bottom so baby stays swaddled during diaper changes
