So a little background..Since I was 12 up until I was about 17 I was monitored and x rayed once a year for pretty dramatic scoliosis (slight double thoracic). By the time I was 17 my curve was at a degree where they would consider putting rods in my back, but didn't have to because I was done growing. My question for any moms with scoliosis is, does it get worse as we get closer to delivery? I'm actually pleasantly surprised that my back is not hurting nearly as bad as I expected. Pretty sharp lower back pain around my tail bone, painful laying down on hard flat surfaces (feels like my back is going to break if I move my legs!) and typical back pain if I'm on it for too long. But nothing to seriously complain about. Should I seek some kind of adjustment? Should I expect it to get worse. I try to stretch it, but certain stretches hurt and I really have no idea what a good back stretch could be.

I was also really concerned about my scoliosis affecting my epidural also. I guess it's something I should ask my doctor next time I go in... Good to know you aren't dealing with a lot of back pain. I was really worried about that
you probably have a lot more pain because you broke your back. Not saying your scoliosis has nothing to do with it, but I would think the fact that your broke your back has a hugeeeee affect on you
