I've had a couple different ones. One place had a pregnancy cushion, with a hollow for your belly (if you need it at this point) and boobs. I actually found it really uncomfortable because I've always had huge boobs and they didn't fit in the boob groove. The other places just had me lay on my side. I don't like them as much because I have a bad back and prefer really deep pressure, which is tough when you're laying on your side, but it's certainly relaxing and does help with some of the pregnancy aches and pains.
Amaaaazing, enjoy! Last time (1 mo ago) I could still comfortably lay on my stomach, but this time I'm not sure. They'll have a pillow to support laying on your side, but like a PP I also like deep pressure so I am hoping to lay on my stomach to allow for that at least part of the time. She went lighter on my lower back and was careful with certain pressure points. It was heaven.
I've had tons and I really only like them if they have the tables with belly holes.. Lying on my side is not comfy or relaxing and it actually messed my neck up pretty bad once.
My back totally ached as I read about y'alls experiences. I dropped a not so subtle hint about getting a prenatal massage as a gift for our 9 years (since we starte dating) anniversary in June. The man better not forget!
I've heard they're amazing and even help with labor. I will not be getting one because I don't like massages. I just have DH do it. I don't respond well to other people touching me.
I do hope you ladies enjoy every single second of your massages!!
I've had one so far. They had me on my side and used various pillows and wedges to position me. I also prefer harder pressure than I got on my back, but I'm sure it's a liability issue or something. Either way, it was amazing.

Exactly what I was going to say. It was much better than I was anticipating though and laying on my side was actually really comfortable.
