Baths: love'em or hate'em

I like polls.
Talking with mommy friends IRL about newborns and bathing. My LO loves it. Even if she's crying, being put in her Blooming Bath will instantly calm her. Theirs hated being bathed. I wondered what's more common. So how does your baby like bath time?

Im a towel warmer too but LO usually pees as soon as I wrap her in the warm towel, So i use a first towel so I don't have to leave her in the tub then lay her down on my bed in the warm towel on a waterproof changing pad. The warm towel completely made a difference in bedtime routine, no more cold meltdowns!

First kid- hated them until 4 mos when I figured out to put him in the big tub on his back on a towel with just an inch of water. He frickin loved it!!

Second kid- hated it at first, then started to enjoy it around 2 mos.

Third kid- hated it at first, now she's ambivalent. Kinda lays there with this "WTH is going on?" expression.

SS! DD's stump just came off at 4.5 weeks with help from the pedi. Still no real baths yet!

she hated it at first but I found out she's just like me and likes the water warmer than usual. once we figured that out, she's happy as can be!

Ds1- screamed every bath time.... got better around 4 months

Ds2- calms instantly the minute he gets in the water

Same bath, same type of shampoo, and same mommy bathing... completely different reactions.

Nope, he hates it. Screams like I'm torturing him. I just have him his bath, and he didn't freak out initially, so I thought maybe we'd made progress, but no. It was just a delayed screaming fit.

DD hated it at first. She would scream the entire time. But I got a better bath tub with the infant insert. She doesn't love it, but at least now she doesn't scream and fuss the whole time. And she sleeps so well after her baths. It must be somewhat relaxing to her. Perhaps we are headed to her loving it.

Mine too!
(Except baths with mama part - we haven't tried that yet)
