FFTC: I had to kind of get up out of my seat and mimic my wiping motion to figure out the answer.

Haha. Sorry it's confusing. So from the front, you would stick your hand with the paper between your legs from the front; from the back, you would wipe from front to back from your behind. Is this clearer?

This sounds like when I try to explain it to my six year old. She gets infections because she won't wipe properly. She wipes from the front, just the very front which does nothing. I tell her to wipe front to back and she does the opposite. There's a lot of "no the front with your hand behind you so you can wipe all the way back. No the front!" It's exhausting. Now I just say "wipe from your urethra to your butt."

"Back" to front, from the front--but I've never had a UTI. I'd like to believe it's "controlled wiping"..I'm not getting to my butt when I wipe (and my pee doesn't got my butt.....does it hit yours?)

Maybe wiping should be part of sex ed curriculum. I feel like it's more applicable for 10 year olds.

My grandmother has a plastic toy of that 3 headed monster. My grandfather won it for her on on their first anniversary. She has kept it all these years. All the grand kids and now great grandkids have played with it. I will forever think of Urethra when I see it now.

Thanks for the recent reference to this poll I can confirm that in Girls on HBO there is wiping back to front! Jessa does it at her wedding and Marnie does it too on the episode when Hannah does cocaine. BOOM! I'm mobile but I can totally provide screen shots when I get home... ;-)
