So I am a FTM and have been gifted a bouncer (plus I bought one used super early in my pregnancy,) a RNP, and we are using a pack and play for DD to sleep in while she is in our room. My question is, do I need the bouncer and the RNP or would you recommend a swing or a mommaroo instead of the bouncer? I just don't want to have one of everything and go totally overboard with unnecessary baby gear...TIA.
Re: RNP versus Bouncer etc. - STMs
A bouncer, a RNP and a PNP have three different uses.
I'd ditch the second bouncer and get a swing.

It seems to depend on the baby too. DD hated her bouncer and loved her swing and RNP. I used to PNP some but she preferred the RNP. I still have my bouncer for this baby in case her prefers that. If you have them all I'd keep them and see what your baby likes.
I would keep the two you already have and then get a swing later if your baby doesn't seem to like one or both of them. Maybe a friend has a swing you could try with your baby before you buy one? Just means waiting until after baby arrives.
