~*~ Tuesday's Getting Healthy Check-In ~*~

Merry Tuesday Ladies!  We broke into the two page mark at the check-in - I'm impressed with all of you!!

This check-in is not necessarily exercise-related.  I know a lot of us are trying to eat healthier and give up bad habits thanks to the motivation of pregnancy/new baby, so any kind of getting heathy is welcome here!

What did you do last week?

What are your plans for this week?

What's your long-term/mid-term goal?

With 12 weeks under their belts - tied for first:
@kdc2007 - I hope your extra day at the gym gives you the results you want to see!
@NicoleReed0324 - Wonderful job making up for the missing workouts by being good about food - it's all about balance!
@phishgirl29 - Well done on the weight loss, even though it sounds like a very unfun way to go about it.
@Pitchslap - Hopefully you're still feeling good getting back to your normal workout routine!
@tiffletons518 - I'm sorry about the way it wound up happening - but congratulations on making it down to pre-baby weight!!

With 7 weeks - @calikat80 - Excellent work getting runs in despite obstacles!

With 5 weeks - @ItsStackie - Well done on getting lots of walking/running in!

With 4 weeks - @LBeez13 - That's awesome that your whole family gets to take part in one of your weekly workouts!  Sounds like a fun family activity to me :-)

With 3 weeks - @tttwalters - I can totally empathize on the DH-motivating front.  I sadly have no recommendations for that, only commiseration.

And a wonderful warm welcome to our newcomers/returning ladies!!!  With one week under their belts:
@Lizzybizzy80 - Wine's practically a health food, especially if it's red! ;-)  Hope you got all your walking in this week!
@RedCherry1109 - Well done on logging the miles!  It's been a long 5 months, hurray for coming back!!

@WasNotWas - So happy to have you back!  Sounds like you've got a lot of positive momentum - hopefully we can help you maintain it!

  • @No longer the best‌ if you stick with the 30 day shred I promise you will be able to do a sit up at the end of 30 days! It's amazing what just 20 minutes a day can do for your body! I'm a huge Jillian fan. I have seen great results with her videos :) good luck!

    I've never done a particular work out 'every single day' every other day maybe. Well now that you know it will help keep me accountable since we talk often on BBM!!!

  • @No longer the best‌ I would say try to do 5 days a week! It's only 20 minutes and the circuits are a 3-2-1 system so it goes so fast! And make sure you move on to the next level as soon as you feel comfortable with the one you're in.
  • I am in no way ready to do the 30 day shred everyday!

  • By the way, for girls that love 30 day shred, she has a newer one called Ripped in 30 with FOUR levels that I also love.

  • What did you do last week? I walked 9.6 miles.

    What are your plans for this week? To try walking more although I'm not going to make it but I have worked out with my body ball the last two days to make up for it.

    What's your long-term/mid-term goal? to lose weight and feel better about my self
