Anyone gotten their Medela replaced?

I have a Pump in Style and the sucking just isn't what it used to be. It isn't like when the white rubber thingy is acting up, it does it even when I switch it out. Oh and yes, milk got in the tubes, but we cleaned and dried it out. It is sucking, just not like it used to. I want a replacement!

  • besides the little white membrane thing, you should also check to make sure the face plate is still on correctly. ?this can cause a decrease in suction. ?if your pump is still under warranty they will?definitely?replace it for you, but you are out of a pump until you get a new one. ?if you have to send it back you might want to check out renting a hospital grade pump until you get another.

  • I got a new one...my old pump's bag ripped and I contacted them about purchasing a new bag...well, apparently they don't sell them, so since it was under warrenty and this is a defect that they had been seeing a lot in the backpack style bags, they sent me a new one...they told me to ship my old one back and that UPS would come get it, but after the box being out on my porch for 3 weeks, I just brought it in and have been using that pump here at home and taking my new one back and forth to work...nice deal for me! THey do have great customer service, I was TOTALLY shocked when they told me I was getting a new pump...I got it the very next day!
  • Late to the party, but mine was replaced at least 2 years out of warranty (It was a PIS we bought NIB from Ebay), called them at 3pm on a Friday, it was at my home at 10am Saturday. I had to send the old one back at the post office.
