Best 1st sippy cup?

I know it's not necessary, but we want to introduce a sippy to our 8 month old twins. We have Zolis for when they are a bit older, but I'm looking for 1st cup recs. Thanks!

Dx: balanced translocation and LPD

TTC since Oct 2011

BPF 02/19/12, EDD 10/31/12, natural m/c 02/28/12 (4w6d)

IVF (BCPs starting 10/30/12, ER 11/18/12, 5dt of 1 beautiful, healthy embryo 11/23/12)
BFP 12/02/12, u/s @ 6w,5d showed 2 HBs! Identical twins!!
Bed rest from 21w-35w due to short cervix, hospital bed rest from 23w-32w due to PTL
Our rainbows were born 07/19/13 (36w, 5d)

    The playtex first lil gripper straw cup. You can squeeze it a little to help them figure out how the straw works. Long term not my favorite but really was good in the beginning.

    We skipped the sippy completely and went straight to the Zoli at 6 months. She figured it out quite easily and now absolutely loves it (8.5 months old).

    They can work a straw at 8 mos? I'll try the Zoli then :)

    We started with the playtex lil gripper straws at 5.5 months... After a few days she knew how to use it by herself.

    I went right to straw but not until a year. She only took milk from a bottle and didn't need water yet

    ETA: the playtex straw cups and take and toss are good
