Since this is the section about success after IVF, I wanted to see if any of you out there got BFPs without having any symptoms. I am in the middle of the "wait". This is my first IVF cycle and I don't go in for a blood test until Thursday.

We did a 5 day transfer last Tuesday with 2 blast embryos. I had mild cramping Thursday, Fri and Saturday....on and off. Yesterday and today nothing at all...and I don't even feel as bloated as I was when I was cramping. In fact, I feel completely normal. My breasts are a little sore, but they have been sore prior to the transfer due to all the meds. I'm not tired or anything! I'm starting to lose hope, so I wanted to see if any of you went through something similar yet came out with success. Thanks.

It's Success after Infertility. All IF is welcome here, not just Ivf.

That being said, I had IUI and had no symptoms. I thought I was about to start AF, even spotted heavily once. Early pg symptoms really vary from person to person, and pregnancy to pregnancy.

I had two BFP's after IVF and I had NO symptoms with either. Don't give up! Lots of people don't get pg symptoms. Good luck!

I didn't feel a thing. I honestly felt like AF was going to start boy was I wrong. Hang in there I agree with others that lots of women have no symptoms before they realize they are pregnant. Fx for you!

No ivf here either just iui with stims and zero symptoms with both bfps. Just spotting for about 8-10 weeks.

I had a 3dt, but the ONLY symptoms I had was mild cramping around the same time frame to your 5dt. It was less actual menstural cramp feeling, but more PMS cramping, like feeling my period was going to come at any time. Also some weird twinges. No spotting, no other symptoms at all. My boobs may have felt a little fuller, but I'm only a b cup so it's obvious when they do. Definitely remember that symptoms vary from woman to woman. Some feel every symptom in the book, where as other have felt none, with same BFP results. Are you planning on being "good" and not do a HPT until your beta? Keep us posted!

No, I was instructed not to take a HPT...so I'm just going to have to wait it out. I would hate to get a false positive...I think that would be even more devastating!

It's hard to grasp that every time is different. After 3 failed IUIs last year...we did pregnant naturally last May, only to m/c at 6 weeks....so I have been pregnant before. I keep going back to the way I "felt" when I was pregnant and even though I didn't have major symptoms (all felt like period) I feel not one cramp, not one twinge and less bloating now with 3 more days to go. My cramps were mild but ended 2 days ago. It's the lack of feeling anything that has me down. I think if the embryos implanted a few days ago, I should start to feel a little different....but perhaps not based on the other responses. I just hate this, and this is the only place I can vent. So thanks everyone for your responses.

I think every RE says not to take a HPT...

But I think it's great that you're waiting because I wasn't able to, and ended up freaking out when my 2nd test had a lighter line than the 1st one. So I do think it's great to wait. Sorry to hear about your m/c. Because mine was so recent, I remember feeling the on and off cramping/twinges for a few days, then they did go away and I had the same worry as you did. Try to keep positive and do things that can help you take your mind off of it: there's nothing you can do differently at this point, and the fact that you were able to get pg naturally is a good sign. Fingers crossed for you.

I felt PG with #1, but not with #2.

Also, during my treatment cycles, I didn't do HPT. I totally agree with you that getting a false positive would be totally devastating and I didn't think it was worth it, just to test a few days early.

I had + Beta's on IVF 1,3 &5, with the 5th resulting in my beautiful little girl (info in siggy). I didn't feel any early pregnancy symptoms with any of them until my 9th week with DD. That is when the morning sickness set in. Felt NOTHING during the 2ww. FX this is it for you! GL!

Hi, I'm back............. this morning was my blood test, and this afternoon was told WE ARE PREGNANT!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks again for your feedback. Here I am, with still no signs!! LOL!! I did start to have some cramping again but other than that, NOTHING!!!!!! I was absolutely shocked when we got the call with the news...still pinching myself!!!!
