Third-tri nausea? Unacceptable!

Suddenly I feel so queasy after each meal that I have to close my eyes, sit still, and slowly sip ice water for about 15 minutes. It's only after I eat, and it doesn't matter what or how much. I don't think I can blame reflux for this one since it's so immediate and I'm on omeprazole anyway. It feels just like the not-quite-morning-sickness weirdness I had in first tri. What the actual f**k? Is this really a thing? If so, booooooooooooo!!!!!!!

Re: Third-tri nausea? Unacceptable!

  • Eh, I've been on anti-nausea drugs since first trimester morning sickness. Still doesn't stop the occasional throwing up, but at least it keeps the pointless nausea to a minimum. Diclegis is pretty awesome, for the record.

  • I know it could be way worse, but still, how annoying of it to show up now.

  • Totally with you. I can basically only tolerate smoothies. Everything else looks amazing until I start eating and then it's nausea-city. If only I could puke I'd feel a heck of a lot better. Oh, but the awesome puke burps are back. Yay.

  • This is me too- especially in the mornings! Since about week 31
  • I vomit pretty much nightly but it is definitely due to reflux. :( I didn't have morning sickness the first tri so I guess this is payback. :(

  • I feel like a jerk for whining about some mild nausea while some of y'all are still actually puking. :\

Eh, I would rather puke than do nausea for hours a day. At least its quick and miserable and then over. Nausea never seems to have an end.

  • If I don't take my unison/b6 every night I am nauseous the whole next day.
