I like it, but I agree that I would assume "Kayden" LastName was female if I saw it on my kid's class valentine list or something.

Not really fond of Caden. Then again, my boy's name is weird, so whatever - I like Maddox alot though!

Your boys name is Logan right? not weird at all IMO, I like it.

Caden is fine, it's NMS but it's not awful

I really like Caden (spelled the way you have it) but I don't like Maddox. It's just not my style at all and it only makes me think of Brangelina.

I like Maddox. I like unique names. Just spell it how it sounds because my name is Melaine and it's not Melanie and it's not pronounced how it's spelt. It's actually Mel ai ney and it's been a nightmare my whole life lol

I think Kayden seems more the girl name while Caden seems the boy spelling.

The name in general sounds like a girls name to me though.

If you want "names you don't hear everyday", stay away from -aden names. Those are extremely popular/common right now.

Adjusted for spelling variations, Aiden is #1, Jayden #3, and Caden #7 most popular names.

@CTri17‌ Yeah, my son's name is Logan. But I'm talking about the boy name for this one. Hubby wanted C names and the only C name I can deal with is one where I can nickname Cas. So if this one is a boy he will be Casimir. I love it but I also know it's odd!

I am sad people would ever think any form of Caden/Kayden was a girl's name.

OP I am not a fan of the name, but it's not the worst. Just a bit too common for my tastes.
