One where I get to sit on my butt and read books all day.
Yess! I used to read so much and barely read anymore. I would love this!!
Ive always wanted to work in childcare. Its in my blood I think. My mom was in daycare from the time I was 6 months to 17. Plus for a few year when I was like 13, my mom, sister and brother all worked at the same daycare.
But I work at a vet and when I was little I wanted to be a vet. So my jobs pretty cool.

I'd love to own a baby store.. I'm fascinated with strollers and I think this is why I collect them. Heck of a lot cheaper than car collection. It however is a bone of contention with dh and I. I did however just sell one for a good profit.
This, but a resale one. I'm addicted to going to consignment events and would love to buy all the things, clean them, and resell them.
When I was in university I used to work as a parking lot attendant on evenings and weekends. I was always a morning person so I took the really early morning shifts (6am-2pm Saturday and Sunday). It gave me a lot of time dedicated to doing homework. But during the summer I also got a lot of time to read books or just sit in the sun and listen to the radio. It was great.
If I only needed to earn minimum wage, I would do something like that.
@Audrey1787 I love you! Can I buy your wool for my store?
I loved my last job. Admitting clerk at a small rural hospital. We had busy times but we also had a lot of downtime. I was basically paid to read and play on the internet. I am really going to miss it.
My dream job now would maybe be to sell my home made baby goods via Etsy and shows. I love making blankets, hats, teething/breastfeeding necklaces. Tomorrow I am making my own ring sling. If I could do this from home and make a bit of money that would be awesome.
I want to sell my invention to have a good bit of extra money. I also hate being at home all the time so I would continue my current teaching job. My dream job would be my current job if they paid up to standard. I love it
I would really love to be a mascot. But I only part time. And not when it is really really hot.
I also have a dream of owning my own relocation company. Not so much doing the logistics, but helping people to get connected in their community. I have worked for communities doing outreach, so kind of the flip side of my dream and Im really good at it.
I'm currently doing one of my dream jobs, working on a flower farm. I love gardening and suck at floral arrangements (5% experience with floral arranging.) So I'm getting my hands in the dirt, learning lots of new stuff AND once the season officially starts, learn how to make beautiful bouquets.
I have a job that is extremely close to my dream job. The title of my dream job is Medical Science Liaison. I am basically doing everything that an MSL does...with a few exceptions.
It is a job that requires travel sooo...I will reserve the MSL role for later in my career because I would like to cut down on travel now. Possibly move to a marketing or training role for now.
As you all know I want to retire to Vermont in the summers and have a farm. Retirement dream job.
Being a wife and mom is all I ever really wanted. But other jobs I want... Start a literacy tutoring center/clinic is my real dream job. I worked at the one at BU for a few years and loved it. There need to be more places like that.
And for my less real dream jobs...
have a bed and breakfast but only once in a while
a food truck, but only once in a while,
and lastly, a bookstore/tea-coffee shop that specializes in pies and sandwiches, AND sells yarn (it would be called A Good Yarn...)

I am pretty close right now as a history professor. Every term I learn new things from my students, have new collaborations, and I read great scholarship/write some.
I do miss my old summer job working for the park service sometimes-leading hikes is just more fun than sitting in meetings like the six hour one I was at today.
My plan B is to be a backup singer or an ESL teacher.
I am living my dream as an equine veterinarian, although this job is definitely not dreamy all the time. I get dirty, it's really hot here in the summers, and I spend way too much time with my arm up a horses ass some days, but I have wanted to be a vet for as long as I can remember, and an equine vet since I was 12. I really do love what I do.
Some days I dream about switching career paths and going into small animal, or even industry.
Some days I dream about working at Starbucks as a barista.

My most exciting job I ever had was a paramedic but right now I work in the ER(when I work that is)
I work as an IT consultant... I love it but my dream job would be to have a home decor agency. I'd love to spend thousands of other people's money in furniture and decorating their huge houses lol... funny thing is I wouldn't like to have a huge house nor expensive furniture! )

Dd1 will be taking that in a few yrs. want an online tutoring job? Yup, I can't help her there. Calc made me cry but so did geometry. Much love for algebra

@ramy3695 Now I really want to talk to you on the phone. It's weird that I've never heard your voice.
@maryannespier I'll stop shaving my legs and pits so I can be your muse.
I like @LadyBlue07's dream job. I hear Disney is awful to work for, though. :-S
Mr. Vals would love to be a waiter or bartender at Jiko or CG in Disney World. He would be great at it.
