XP on PGAL & Infertility: 1st beta results

I'm not sure who lurks on PGAL or not, so I hope it's okay if I post an update here... I was going to just update my other thread but the formatting looked all funky.
First beta was 41.9. I'm supposed to have a follow up blood draw Wed to see what it's doing. Spotting has continued but at least not gotten worse so far.
She said to reduce my progesterone suppositories to twice a day since apparently my practice does 100 mg 3x a day until after implantation then goes to 2x per day. She said I could continue at 3x per day if I wanted so I'm debating about that.
Not a great start as I expected but above 25 anyway which is more that I expected.

Cycle #22: Femara, TI, and progesterone = BFP!!
BFP#3 Dec 21, 2012. Beta #1 @14dpo = 134, progesterone 67.8. Beta #2 @ 17dpo = 664! Team green, EDD 9/1/13, healthy baby boy born 9/12/13!

I doing my betas near me but if I get to the point where we have an ultrasound then it would definitely be at the office near you.
But truthfully I would be shocked beyond belief if my doubling time was right. I have had what I would consider heavy spotting now since Monday. And I have been having some moderate cramping on top of it since yesterday.
I took my last test this morning but it was one of those CBE week estimators and while it came up 1-2 weeks pregnant that could be picking up HCG anywhere from 10 - 150ish it looks like. So really all that told me was that it wasn't below 10. But again, just considering all the factors together my guess is that my numbers aren't going to be good and that maybe continuing the progesterone supplements are just delaying full onset of bleeding.
But, I strangely am not letting myself get upset about it yet. I just decided that since I really don't have confirmation of anything yet, I am not letting myself get upset or cry about it yet.
I keep reading stories of people who have low betas to start or bleeding or cramping and I am so conflicted bc part of me feels like that's just giving me false hope and the other part thinks well maybe finally this time I will be one of those success stories myself.
Sorry this turned out so long!!
But thank you again for keeping me in your thoughts. I'll update later this afternoon when I get results. And I hope and pray it means I do get to that ultrasound appointment!
