So after mostly sticking to the PGAL board, I decided to dive in here headfirst a week or so ago, but am now realizing that I haven't actually intro'd hahaha
My name's Cat, I live in Eastern Canada and I'm a librarian, but I'm far from quiet (played roller derby prior to pregnancies, am generally a little loud around my buds, was recently shushed by a patron, etc.)....I'm 30, DH is 32, and we have hope that this will be our take home baby.
I had a miscarriage at 7 weeks in January 2013, and we lost our daughter Marianne at 22 weeks 5 days on August 23rd to what appears to be a cord injury (final results only came in last month). We are expecting another little lady, as seen on the 12 week ultrasound (at the high risk specialist, the machine was pretty fancy and clear!)
It's been a rough year, as I recently lost my mother to brain cancer (Feb 19th is when she passed away), but I'm surrounded by lots of love and support, and our little rainbow has given us hope for brighter days.
That's my sap story! I love food, comics, music and have two wacky pets (cat and dog).
