TDAP vaccination? Ok to get before 8 week appt?

My husband and I are going to visit my sister in law, her husband and their new baby (he's 7 weeks old). She is requiring us to get the flu shot and TDAP before we visit the baby. Is that something that I should get this early on? I guess I could call my OB and ask, but I thought maybe someone had a good answer. I know the Dr. usually has you get the TDAP when you're pregnant anyway, but is it bad this early on??

I dont know. I'm a little annoyed that we're asked to get it, but oh well. I'll have to call my Doc I guess. Thanks!
