Oh my gosh I didn't even think cannibals! Do you think that is what was in the barbecue? :-& I'm hoping Beth is maybe in one of the other containers..please no Beth burger, I really like her.
Yeah I thought for a second they were going to shoot Carl when he was walking to the container. Otherwise the end wasn't as exciting as I was expecting. There have been plenty more episodes that left me hanging
Not impressed. And pissed I have to wait 6 months to know what happens. I was really hoping they would tie most of the loose ends but I feel just as robbed of information as I did before I watched the finale.
I don't know I feel like even in extreme desperate times I could eat a person, Let alone barbecue them. Honestly it even feels weird writing that last sentence. Also fun fact I remember when I was 10 my dad took me to see where the Donner party got stuck for so long.
i actually didn't like the flashbacks. i don't think they covered anything detrimental to the story that we didn't already know.
@mbm1983, I viewed the flashbacks as a juxtaposition between how Hershel viewed beginning and sustaining civilization (cultivating the land and taming wild animals) and how these nutjobs at Terminus were doing it (eating other people). I don't know how that contributes to the plot, but I found it at least a bit interesting. Maybe it serves to illustrate the progression (regression?) of Rick's character from someone who started out as a reasonable and scrupulous man but has found himself in a very dark place (you know...biting necks and all). There was a lot of talk, after all, about becoming monsters from both Rick, Darryl, and Carl. And I don't know if it's a coincidence that we're being exposed to cannibalism in the same episode that Rick bit a chunk of flesh out of another man's neck.
I second (third? fourth?) the idea that the Terminus people are cannibals. In reality, cannibalism is a terribly inefficient way to ensure survival, especially in a world where living people are scarce and they are all harboring some sort of weird ass virus. So that part bugs me. But, ok, this is fiction....
I liked the finale. I think we deserved one more episode, though, before another 6-month hiatus. But that's typical of this show, I think. The second half of this season was very frustrating with all of the disconnected plot lines, many of which were sooooo uneventful and borderline boring as hell.
I may be the only person who doesn't give two shits where Beth is. I think the only reason for that episode with Darryl and her (which was one of the more boring of the season) was to make the audience care about someone they were going to kill off -- this way they could give a character kill-off a slight amount of gravitas without having to pull another Hershel.
I too was a little disappointed we saw nothing of Carol, Tyrese, and Judith, though I don't think they've made it to Terminus yet. Carol is one of my favorite characters, and I still maintain that I won't be able to handle the killing off of that baby girl.
Re: TWD ( spoilers)
And Beth, where's Beth!!? My SIL pointed out that the creepy lady cooking at the gate was wearing Beth's sweater.
Also sad at the Hershel flashbacks.
I'm thinking their cannibals, I just hope Beth isn't someone's burger

So it's not her sweater? Good!!
I think Beth is gone.
My married last name is a long Polish name and nobody gets it right. 8-|
But also-
