27 weeks pregnant - stomach flu

Hey ladies -

So Friday night I came down with some awful virus or stomach bug. Including (TMI alert) vomiting and diareaah. The vomiting stopped late Friday night and my OBGYN gave me zophran to help with that. The bad news is the diareaah has not. It's been awful since Friday. No temperature. No headache. All I'm drinking is Gatorade and eating rice and toast. Went to my OBGYN today. Blood pressure is great. Babies heart rate is perfect. They ran blood work and (gross) a stool sample. Urine was fine. Any ladies go through this before!? When does it end!? HELP!!

    I had the stomach flu right about the same time. Saltine Crackers, gingerale and plenty of fluids and rest helped me. I was down and out for a few days. Hope you are feeling better.

    I found that the pregnancy made stomach flu worse, I'd get my stomach settled and then the acid reflux would trigger more vomiting...  All in all, I was pretty sick for about a week.  Stay hydrated and good luck!

    Well said! It actually took an entire week to finally feel better. Slightly hard to get used to not bouncing back like I used to!! Feeling much better now!!
