Stupid TY Note question

Yes, that's right, another. I had my baby shower on the weekend, because that's how we roll here ;) (everyone likes to meet the baby, I guess?). I'm writing my thank you notes today, and wondering, do I send one to my mom? She buys LO clothes every time I see her, and I don't send her a card every time. (Can you imagine what a PITA that would be? Dear Mom, Thank you for buying that sleeper because on sale, and emptying my dishwasher).

    I wrote a note to my MIL thanking for 'everything'. Gifts, the shower, etc. The next time I saw her, she said she was glad to get the thank you but another one wasn't necessary!

    I wrote one to my mom after the shower thanking her for all the work she put into everything, but since then, no... I don't think notes are needed for her every time she brings/does something, just verbal thank you's.

    I didn't write one for my mom. I did get her a gift for helping us with SO MUCH these past few months. A scented candle and some tea, because I know the way to my moms heart is through a hot cup of tea
