I was wondering if any of you mommies had a prefrence or a suggestion on crib mattresses? We are trying to register for ours and I have no idea what is good, bad or horrible. Do you have a preference over springs versus fiber or brand? I appreciate it!
Re: crib mattress suggestions?
I did TONS of research...yes, including laying (9 months preggo) on a selection of mattresses at BRU. We ended up with a mid-priced Serta. I wanted a name brand. The high end $160+ model has more coils and a foam top, but all the consumer reports and SIDS recommendations I read said to buy the firmest mattress you can find. The mid-priced - $100 - was firm, but comfy AND fire safe, hypoallergenic...yadda, yadda, yadda.?

Do you have the Baby Bargains book? That's really helpful!
We have the Colgate Classica I mattress, which is great. It's made of foam, so it weighs 6 pounds and makes sheet changes much easier. It is highly rated, and we bought ours on https://www.greatbeginnings.com
We also got a miracle blanket there for cheaper than other places.
Sorry, I meant this site:
