Croup/bronchitis question

Can croup/bronchitis really come on in 4hours?

D woke up at midnight sounding like a seal....

He's happy, eating and drinking, just waiting for drs to open to get him in

Re: Croup/bronchitis question

  • I'm not sure what you mean about it coming on in 4 hours? Whenever C has had croup it always pops up overnight while he's sleeping. The coughing is always worse at night and usually lasts 2-3 nights then breaks up into a cold/cough. Hope he feels better soon!

  • Thanks @MeatballEsq‌ ... I mean by coming on in 4 hrs is he went to bed at 8 and seemed fine and woke up at midnight sounding like a seal.

Sounds like what D is going thru.
  • Same thing happened with DD when she had bronchiolitis, fine at bed time sick an hour or two later. I hope he gets well soon.

  • Whre you outside this weekend? L has allergies and takes allerga 2x a day but we spent ALL weekend outside in the crazy wind. Last night at midnight she started coughing a horrible dry cough, choking from the scratchy(ness).

  • It's croup, he has a dose of oral steroid to take and I got some cough medicine for him as well. DH took him outside today for 40min.
